Working with Camden Council
Why work for Camden?
Welcome Message from Daniel Omisore, Director of Finance
We Make Camden
Thank you for visiting our microsite and for your interest in working at Camden. I am delighted to bring these roles to you and together, I know we can create the right environment to achieve our goals.

Camden is building a borough that is the best place to live, work, study and visit. Making social justice a reality isn’t just talk, in Camden we’re working to create the conditions for all of society in every community to not just survive, but to thrive.
The Finance service in Camden has an ambitious vision to ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality, value-added service with excellent financial controls. We will do this through an exciting journey of continuous improvement, change, challenge, and innovation.
To deliver on our aspirations, you’ll be expected to know the basics. But even more importantly, to work in a collaborative way within the council, and with our residents and many partners.

Having worked my way up throughout my career, I truly believe in the power of nurturing talent; and to deliver this that’s where you come in. Whether you’re an experienced Finance professional with something to give back, looking for that new challenge or step up, or maybe just starting out in your career, we’d love to talk to you.
There is a spirit and energy in Camden that is hard to put into words, but if you have the passion and enthusiasm, we will work hard to enable you to realise your ambitions.

Together, we are cultivating a culture where authenticity is combined with adventurous and imaginative thinking - and I can’t wait to see what we can make happen in Camden.
