Working together to create a stronger city we can all be proud of

Stoke-on-Trent is a city built on a history of industrial greatness and creative artistic flair. In a recent years we’ve seen something of a resurgence of many of the things that made the city great. From pottery to performing arts and everything in between, we’re home to world-class museums, outstanding visitor centres, glorious gardens, fantastic factory tours, creative hands-on opportunities... we have it all!

In this last period, we have secured well over £100 million of investment to realise our ambitious regeneration plans.  Our goal is to define and deliver a better shared future for our citizens by reducing inequalities and enriching our communities through improvements to health and social care, housing, transport, economic development, environmental sustainability and enhanced family support. We are determined that people born in Stoke-on-Trent will have the best start in life and enjoy opportunities to build healthy, happy and productive lives based around fair employment, sustainable places and a healthy standard of living.
